ABOUT
Hello! It’s me! (and other Adele lyrics).
Thanks for visiting my website, which as of December 2023 is fully updated but still remarkably useless. Now that The New Yorker has rejected all of my cartoons, I’m free to post them on here! If you found this website, I have to assume that you’re stalking me on Google, probably because we work together (insert professional greeting here) or because you bumped into me on a dating app and want to see if I’m a real and non-creepy person (insert charming, friendly, reassuring greeting here).
I am and always have been a writer and artist, though I work full-time out of Reston, Virginia as a Senior Risk Consultant for a global risk consulting firm. My creative interests are all over the place, but most recently I’ve made:
A middle grade urban fantasy graphic novel inspired by Roald Dahl, Wes Anderson, and (regrettably) Woody Allen.
A collection of New Yorker-style cartoons.
A middle grade urban fantasy novel (unrelated to that other one) in a similar vein to the work of Kate Milford.
A paranormal detective procedural TV pilot.
A fantastical middle grade novel inspired by H.P. Lovecraft.
An epic historical novel based in a fictional country in the North Atlantic during the Gilded Age.
Five feature screenplays, none of which anyone will ever be allowed to read.
Literally over 100 partially completed projects in various media.
Feel free to say hi! The best way to reach me is via email.
