Privacy notice: Groundwork waitlist

This notice explains what happens to your information when you join the waitlist for my book, Groundwork. I’m Torin Russell, and I’m responsible for this list. You can reach me at torin@torinrussell.com.

What I collect. I collect your email address, your first name if you give it, the location you choose, and basic sign-up details, such as when you joined and which link brought you to the page. My email provider also records whether you open my emails and click their links.

Why I collect it. I use it only to send you news about Groundwork, including publication updates, preorder offers, and events. I rely on your consent, which you give when you sign up and confirm your email address.

Who handles it. Kit, my email provider, stores the list in the United States on my behalf. I don’t sell your information or share it with anyone else.

How long I keep it. I keep it until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.

Your choices. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email me to see, correct, or delete your information. If you live in the UK or the European Union, you have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
